ABOUT LYNN PATRICK
Lynn Patrick grew up in Florida, surrounded by music. Her family sang and played instruments for fun—piano, ukulele, banjo, and guitar. Early experiences, including many trips to the ocean, swimming, snorkeling on coral reefs, sailing, and horseback riding, formed the foundation of her creative life. After earning a Humanities degree from Florida State University in 1983, she moved to Boston to pursue music, then settled in Colorado two years later, where the Rockies deeply inspired her sound. For the past 23 years, she has lived in the mountains west of Boulder, drawing inspiration and creative energy from the surrounding beauty. A lifelong lover of nature, Patrick channels the outdoors directly into her melodic, soulful, uplifting, and heartfelt guitar work.
She has independently written, produced, and released seven albums—six instrumental and one vocal—earning recognition for her expressive guitar style and distinctive instrumental voice. Patrick is a two-time Independent Music Award winner for Best New Age Song, recipient of the Indie Acoustic Project's Best Instrumental Album of the Year 2025–2026 award for Water Stones, a USA Songwriting Competition finalist, an International Acoustic Music Awards (IAMA) finalist, and a multi-time finalist in the Indie Acoustic Project Awards.
Patrick's music continues to be played on CBS/Sony Pictures Television's The Young and the Restless. She also spent a year as a songwriter for the series. Emmy Award–winning former The Young and the Restless music supervisor Paul F. Antonelli, who selected and showcased her music during his tenure with the show, said:

Her compositions have also appeared in documentaries including Jack Hanna's Into the Wild, Ocean Mysteries with Jeff Corwin, and Mariel Hemingway's Running From Crazy, and have been heard on The Weather Channel, NPR, SiriusXM, Pandora, and SoundsLikeCafe's Australian radio network. Across Spotify, Pandora, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and other streaming platforms, Patrick's music has been streamed more than 20 million times.
She has performed nationwide at venues including Red Rocks Amphitheatre (opening for Dan Fogelberg), The Bitter End in New York City, The Bluebird Café in Nashville, SXSW in Austin, eTown, the Boulder Theater, and festivals throughout Colorado.
